RTDNA
The Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) is the world's largest professional organization serving the electronic news profession, consisting of more than 2,000 news directors, news associates, educators and students.
The Fresno State RTDNA chapter was founded in 2012 and is approved by the national
RTDNA in Washington, D.C. Campus officers include Razmik Cañas, president; Adrian Luevano, vice president; Allizbeth
Clavijo Trujillo, treasurer; and Armando Carreño, secretary; Prof. Faith Sidlow is the faculty adviser.
RTDNA Student Chapters provide extraordinary opportunities to their members with instant
access to innovative education and resource tools, networking with professionals in
radio, television and online news, scholarships, fellowships, and more. Fresno State
students have visited newsrooms and met news professionals in Fresno, San Francisco,
Los Angeles, and Sacramento, and they've attended the national Excellence in Journalism
conference in Anaheim, Calif.; Nashville, Tenn.; Orlando, Fla.; and New Orleans, La.
The next national conference will be in San Antonio, Texas from September 5 to 7, 2019.
