College of Arts and Humanities

College of Arts and Humanities Commencement

Update 5.2.2024:

We are just two weeks away from commencement!

I wanted to let you know that the photography cards are now available to pick up and complete from your department (please check your email for instructions). You must have your photography card for your name to be read when you cross the stage. Please complete the card and keep it with your regalia so you can be sure to bring it with you on the 17th!

Please also double check your email to confirm that you have registered for the ceremony! Commencement registration is completely separate from applying to graduate from the university (not everyone who graduates chooses to participate in the ceremony). Registration helps me anticipate how many of you will be participating, and lets me know how you want your name to be printed in the program (this can be different from the name read when you cross the stage, see the photography card information in the Commencement Guide).

The deadline for ceremony registration is May 10. If you do not register by that date, you can still participate, however there will be no adjustments to your name in the program.

We still have stoles available for sale, but they must be picked up in-person from the dean’s office, in Music 186 by May 15, 2024. All other regalia can be purchased from the Kennel Bookstore.

Remember to arrive by 12:15pm to the loading dock of the Save Mart Center (see the image in the Commencement Guide), on Friday, May 17.

Parking will be impacted, so please tell your guests that they should allow time to park, walk to the Save Mart Center, go through their security procedures, and be seated by 12:15pm when the procession begins. Please also direct your guests to the Save Mart Center’s entrance policies, especially the clear bag policy, so they are not delayed from entering.

For family and friends who cannot attend in person, the ceremony will be live streamed on the university’s main commencement website. Please note that live streaming is operated outside the College of Arts and Humanities.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions at bbarks@csufresno.edu

We’re working hard to make this a fantastic celebration for you all, and we look forward to seeing you on May 17!

Sincerely,

Brenna
