Overview of cognitive science, an interdisciplinary area of study focusing on cognition:
how we perceive the world and how we can model the ways we think or perceive. Brings
together the key fields of linguistics, psychology, philosophy, and computer science.
CogSci 101
(3 units; 9 max)
Introduces students to the discipline of cognitive science through a series of lectures
given by local and visiting cognitive scientists. The structure and content will vary
from term to term. May be taken three times for credit. (Formerly LING 140T)
