Persian Language and Culture and Modern Standard Arabic Language Studies

Language Programs in Persian and Modern Standard Arabic are housed in the Department of Linguistics. The Department of Linguistics is one of nine departments within the College of Arts and Humanities.

Persian was offered for the first time in Fall 2007 under the course title Linguistics 40T.  We are utterly grateful for the generous support of the Roshan Cultural Heritage Institute for the Persian Language and Culture Studies at California State University, Fresno. The first offering of Arabic was in Spring 2008.
