The Karen and PJ Mistry Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding graduate student in Linguistics who has completed two semesters of graduate work. The scholarship is designed to especially encourage advanced work in the form of a publishable paper or thesis in general or applied linguistics. The scholarship is awarded to a student who is initiating a research project/thesis and shows a high degree of promise to complete publishable work within general or applied linguistics.
