College of Arts and Humanities
Arts in Motion
An annual event, Arts in Motion: Celebrating Student Excellence, recognizes an outstanding undergraduate and graduate student within each department of the College of Arts and Humanities. These students are nominees for the most prestigious award given to a graduating student in the College of Arts and Humanities: the Dean’s Medal.
The Undergraduate and Graduate Dean’s Medalists are recognized for their outstanding academic and/or artistic achievements and accomplishments and contributions to the campus and community. Nominees for the Dean’s Medal are the most accomplished and promising students in the College.
The College’s Undergraduate and Graduate Dean’s Medalist become contenders for the President’s Medal that is awarded at Commencement. The President's Medal is the highest honor the University bestows on a graduate.
This year Arts in Motion will recognize the College's many scholarship recipients as well as our generous donors. Underwriting opportunities are available and help the College defray event costs. Sponsors will be listed in the event program, and department and/or program sponsors will be highlighted at the event.
