Jim Boren (1972), executive director, Institute for Media and Public Trust at Fresno State. Boren is an award-winning journalist who is widely recognized for his expertise in newsroom management. With a career spanning four decades of newspaper experience, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the national news scene. He has covered national politics and served as executive editor and senior vice president of The Fresno Bee until his retirement in 2018.
