Dr. Lull is an Associate Professor of Science Communication. He teaches courses in the areas of Science Communication, Communication Theory, and Communication Technology.

Dr. Lull’s research examines science and nature storytelling. His current projects include a monograph examining linguistic trends in science and nature documentaries, content analysis of climate communication in national parks, and a book narrating the history of scientific achievements in national parks and monuments.

His previous work has been published in Nature Climate Change, Environmental Communication, Journal of Science Communication, and The Oxford Handbook of the Science of Science Communication.

Dr. Lull is a member of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), International Communication Association (ICA), and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
