Commencement 2020 | General Information
The 2020 College of Arts and Humanities Commencement will be held at 12:15 p.m. Friday, May 15, in the Save Mart Center at Fresno State for students who have completed their degree in Summer 2019, Fall 2019, and Spring 2020.
Pre-registration for this event is required. Please be sure to click on the link below to pre-register for the event before April 24, 2020. If you are not pre-registered by this date, we cannot guarantee your name will appear in the college commencement program.

Tickets for this event will not be required.
Academic Regalia is required and can be purchased at the Kennel Bookstore. Cap, gown, hood (according to your degree) or tassel (white).
College of Arts and Humanities Stole is available for purchase beginning March 17, 2020. On March 17 and 18, there will be an information table for the College of Arts and Humanities at Grad Fest. There will be someone at that table to answer your questions from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day. After these dates, please go to your department office, or to the Dean’s Office (Music 186) to pick up a purchase slip. You will take this slip to the Cashier’s Office and pay for the stole ($30.00 non-refundable fee). Then return the receipt to the Dean’s Office to pick-up your stole.
Photography: A photographer will be present at the Commencement to take pictures of each student on stage with their department chair. The company will send you proofs within 10 days after the ceremony, but you are under no obligation to purchase these photographs. When you receive the proofs, any questions regarding these pictures should be directed to the company.
Commencement programs: Programs will be available for your guests as they enter the seating area. Your program will be on your chair.
