Tanya Nichols teaches writing and literature courses. She serves as the coordinator
of the English Department's annual Young Writers’ Conference and the university's
Upper-Division Writing Exam. Nichols is the author of three novels: Stinger, co-written with journalist Bill McEwen, published in 2019 by West of West Books; The Circle Game, published in 2018 by Alternative Book Press; and The Barber’s Wife, published in 2014 by Alternative Book Press. Her shorter works have appeared in
a variety of literary journals.
